Last week McKay Sheet Metal and Roofing business replaced the roof on our cottage and on our Gazebo. Both buildings look great and we are happy to know that we will have no further leaks. Our cottage is situated at the end of a very long lane which meanders through considerable woodlands. It was a challenge for the team to drive their three trucks safely and efficiently down this narrow driveway. Jake and the crew arrived at the appointed time, at the top of the laneway and we led the convoy to the cottage. I was pleasantly surprised that they completed the work in just over a day and a half. Jake returned on the second afternoon to haul away the Waste Bin. The complete cleanup job was very much appreciated. A special word of thanks to the Office Manager who communicated with me frequently in a very commendable manner. Thanks to everyone involved.

You made the experience enjoyable with your wonderful personality and your professionalism. You made this a very easy and stress-free experience. Initially we were planning on getting three quotes, however, fortunately you were the first person to respond, make an appointment and come to see us. After meeting you we had no desire to deal with anyone else. The initial thought of going through this process was daunting but it turned out to be so easy thanks to you. This past week, April 18, 2016, McKay Roofing re-shingled our roof. It was an easy decision to hire them because of the people we dealt with, beginning with Cliff, the salesman. My email inquiry was quickly answered and within a day, we met with Cliff. He has an easygoing personality which made negotiations pleasant. He explained the work thoroughly. He took pictures and superimposed the new shingles on them to give us a better impression of the product. The 3 man crew led by Matt were hard working and very respectful of us and our surroundings. We live in the country and so the wrappings and other material sometimes flew around but at the end of every day, they walked about cleaning up. A certain amount of debris has to be expected but they assured us, the final day would see it cleaned and they were true to their word. Installation was according to the contract, but the crew actually did more than what it called for. Kevin, the president of the company came by a couple of times over the 3 1/2 days, plus for a final inspection. One last item — the fellow who brought the dumpsters told me when he came to remove them, this is the first roofing company who asked him to be sure there was no mess when he picked them up.
